Why opening hours matter more than the view
Ohrid has beautiful cafes on the lake, and if you are writing a postcard you should sit in one. If you are working, what matters is different: that the place opens early, does not close in the afternoon, and can feed you more than once without you having to pack up and move.
BITE is open from 08:00 to 22:00 every day of the week, with no afternoon break, and the kitchen runs the whole time. Nobody will hurry you for the table.

Inside or on the terrace
There is seating inside and on the terrace outside. From spring to autumn most people sit outside; on a hot afternoon or for a video call, inside is the better choice. Wi-Fi is free for guests — ask at the counter for the password.
If you need to charge a laptop, ask which seats are best when you arrive. We would rather tell you honestly than promise a socket at every table.
What to order across a long working day
- Morning: a chia meal (170–180 den) or an oat meal with protein (190–210 den), and a latte.
- Midday: a salad or a wrap — the Protein salad (290 den) or the Falafel wrap (230 den) will carry you through the afternoon.
- Afternoon slump: cold brew (120 den) or iced matcha (190 den) instead of a third espresso.
- Late: a Green juice (190 den) — spinach, cucumber, apple, ginger and lemon.
Staying in an apartment instead?
Some days you will want to work from where you are staying. BITE delivers through Wolt and Korpa.mk for the full opening hours, so a salad and a cold brew can come to you. Or call 077 803 141 and collect on a walk.
A good place to work is one that feeds you properly and does not close at four.
