What are BITE Ohrid’s opening hours?
BITE is open every day from 08:00 to 22:00, including weekends. The kitchen, the coffee bar and the juice bar all run for the full day, so salads, sandwiches, coffee and fresh juice are available from opening to closing.

Does BITE have vegan options?
Yes. More than 30 items on the BITE menu are fully vegan, including the falafel wrap, the hummus sandwich, the guacamole toast on homemade sourdough, the vitamin mix salad, the fruit salad, all four cold-pressed juices, all seven juice mixes, and the chia meals made with almond or cashew milk.
Can I get coffee with plant-based milk at BITE?
Yes. Every coffee that normally comes with milk can be made with cashew milk instead, for 40 denars extra. Almond milk is used in the chia meals, and a plant milk add-on is available across the drinks menu.

What time does BITE serve breakfast?
Breakfast is available from 08:00, when BITE opens. The morning menu includes four oat meals, chia puddings made with almond or cashew milk, a granola parfait with homemade forest fruit jam, a fruit meal with almonds and flaxseed, and a smoothie bowl with homemade granola.
How much does food cost at BITE Ohrid?
Prices are in Macedonian denars and are listed on the menu. Coffee runs from 70 denars for an espresso to 180 denars for a tiramisu latte. Cold-pressed juices are 170 to 220 denars, smoothies 190 to 250 denars, salads 200 to 290 denars, and sandwiches and wraps 200 to 290 denars.
Does BITE serve matcha?
Yes. Matcha is served hot or cold in a 250 ml serving, at 160 denars hot and 190 denars cold. Fruit puree and cashew milk can be added for 40 denars each.
Does BITE have protein shakes?
Yes. There are five protein smoothies — Matcha Oasis, Cherry Protein, Green Protein, Red Protein and Cream Protein — each 250 ml, from 220 to 250 denars, and you choose vanilla, strawberry or chocolate protein. A protein scoop can also be added to any regular smoothie for 90 denars.
What is in BITE’s fresh juice?
The cold-pressed juices are single-fruit: orange, apple, carrot and pineapple, each 250 ml. There are also seven juice mixes, including Green with spinach, cucumber, apple, ginger and lemon, and Red with beetroot, carrot, apple and lemon.
Does BITE have gluten-free food?
BITE is not a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, so cross-contact cannot be ruled out. Several items contain no gluten ingredients, including the salads, the cold-pressed juices and juice mixes, and most smoothies. Please tell us about a gluten intolerance when you order and we will tell you exactly what is in a dish.
How does BITE mark allergens?
