More about visiting
Address and opening hours
BITE is at Bulevar Makedonski Prosvetiteli, Ohrid 6000, North Macedonia. The boulevard runs through the centre of town, a few minutes on foot from the lakefront promenade and from the edge of the old town, which makes BITE an easy stop whether you are starting the day or breaking one up.
Opening hours are the same every day of the week, all year: 08:00 to 22:00. There is no split service and no afternoon closure. The kitchen, the coffee bar and the juice bar all run the full day, so a salad at 09:00 and a cold-pressed juice at 21:00 are both normal orders.

Getting here
On foot from the old town or the lake, head inland to Bulevar Makedonski Prosvetiteli; BITE sits directly on the boulevard, so you do not need to navigate side streets. From the bus station or the newer parts of the city, the boulevard is one of the main routes into the centre.
Arriving by car, the boulevard is a through road, and the coordinates above drop you at the door in any navigation app. If you want to check parking on the day, call 077 803 141 before you set off — we would rather tell you where to leave the car than have you circle the block.
What the day looks like
BITE works as three different rooms at once, depending when you arrive. Mornings are breakfast from 08:00 — oat meals, chia puddings, granola parfaits and cold-pressed juice — which matters in a town where most kitchens start at ten or eleven.
At lunch it is salads and bowls, sandwiches, wraps and sourdough toasts, all built to order. In the afternoon it is the cold coffee programme: cold brew filtered cold rather than poured over ice, freddo espresso, and thirteen iced drinks including the tiramisu latte. In the evening it is still open while most of the kitchens around it are not.
What the space is like
There is seating inside and a terrace outside, which is where most people sit between spring and autumn. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The space was built to be sat in rather than passed through: the food is made to order, the coffee is made on an espresso bar rather than pushed out of a machine, and nobody will hurry you for the table.
Before you come
Every dish is prepared to order, so dietary requirements are easy to handle if you tell us at the counter. Ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction are marked with an asterisk on the menu. More than 30 items are fully vegan, and every milk coffee can be made with cashew milk instead of dairy.
If you would rather not come in, BITE delivers through Wolt and Korpa.mk during opening hours, and phone orders for collection are taken on 077 803 141.
